Reports to: Nova Inc President

Main responsibilities:

Account Management for Nova customers located in North East

Director
NE Accounts

  • Act as the regional manager and the key person at Nova for all NE regional related issues. Manage all accounts related activity from all aspects including:
  • Effectively sell existing products to all 300mm customers in NE area
  • Map and profile the individual account in details
  • Build relationship and trust with key figureheads
  • Identify and lead penetration efforts with new products in order to increase the Nova market share
  • Characterize and define customers roadmap requirements and plan how to accommodate those needs using the company’s technology and products
  • Act as a key interface towards the company’s R&D and product groups in defining customers’ needs and drive towards accommodating those needs
  • Understand and articulate strategic directions and affect the technological strategy of the company accordingly
  • Drive, manage and leverage the application and field support organization to strengthen Nova’s position and customer loyalty
  • Coordinate the sales cycle with the sales and business people of Nova’s business partners where integrated metrology solutions are being sold
  • Utilize extensive memory manufacturing process know-how to help define areas for focus and differentiation for Nova

Main Objectives:

• To successfully create and drive several penetration efforts into accounts in the areas of Optical CD and X-Ray Metrology
• To position Nova as a key metrology supplier for relevant areas in the fab
• To characterize customer’s specific needs per application and drive Nova’s development efforts to cater for those needs
• To find means to differentiate against competition at each individual account
• To learn and develop relationships at all levels at each individual account to drive the Nova business therein in the most effective way
• To utilize account’s process understanding to position Nova product offering in a competitive way alongside Nova’s business partners
• To build a basis for new joint projects, sales activity and other cooperation in future
• To identify and lead new development efforts in furtherance of the product performance envelope

Representation:

• Liaise with all levels, technical and non-technical
• Direct communication with all levels of Nova staff, especially technical staff
• Represent Nova’s technical expertise in joint projects
• Manage a team of Application Scientists and Field Service engineers, while providing a leadership guidance, in achieving company goals

Information:

• Gather, analyze and report all information in regards to process trends and conditions
• Capture all opportunities
• Report to Nova’s Sales organization any activity that might have commercial potential
• Map each individual account organization and all relevant Fabs
