Role Description

We’re looking for an exceptional, results-oriented Corporate Strategy Director who will be responsible for Nova’s corporate and portfolio strategy planning, reporting to Nova’s Chief Marketing Officer.

The Corporate Strategy Director is a key managerial role responsible for shaping and guiding the overall strategic direction of the company, ensuring Nova has a winning strategy and portfolio roadmap to support long-term growth. This position involves deep analysis of market trends, competitive dynamics, and technological advancements, as well as the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to drive growth, innovation, and sustainability in the semiconductor market.

Responsibilities

Corporate Strategy Planning

  • Lead the development and execution of long-term corporate strategies to achieve business growth.
  • Conduct strategic planning processes, including market analysis, scenario planning, and risk assessment.
  • Analyze global technology and market trends, and the competitive landscape in the semiconductor industry.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of Nova’s strategic initiatives.
  • Work closely with various departments (such as finance, marketing, R&D, and operations) to ensure strategic alignment and effective execution of initiatives.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across different levels of the organization.

Portfolio Roadmap

  • Create and maintain the company portfolio roadmap, outlining the development and lifecycle of products.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape to understand competitor strategies and market positioning.
  • Ensure Nova’s long-term portfolio roadmap addresses the key semiconductor technology inflections.
  • Develop and articulate a clear vision and strategy for the company’s product lines.
  • Communicate product strategy to stakeholders, including the executive team and external partners.
  • The role involves intensive work and cooperation with Nova’s product divisions and corporate teams (marketing, CTO, business, and finance).
  • This position may require occasional travel to customer sites, conferences, and other company locations.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in business, economics, engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience in strategic planning or product management, ideally in the semiconductor or a related high-tech industry.
  • Deep understanding of the global semiconductor market, technological trends, and business models.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically, with a excellent problem-solving mindset.
