Role Description

Nova is seeking an experienced Global Service Director to lead, develop, and grow our service division. The ideal candidate must be a strategic thinker, have a proven track record in developing and managing service operations, and possess the ability to build relationships in an international matrix organization. The successful candidate must be a solution oriented individual and have prior experience in building service management structures, processes and procedures that support a decentralized staff of field service managers, supervisors, technicians, and admin personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Constantly assess service improvements and business opportunities to successfully drive initiatives to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.
  • Monitor financials from a service perspective for the region, maintaining an overview of cost savings, operational costs, profit and loss, and revenue.
  • Partner with our Field Service Team and Global HQ to define service and delivery objectives for GMD, based on your forecast and projections.
  • Leading Complex price quotations and coordinating approval of pricing.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to our Service Teams in Taiwan, China, Korea, and USA in technical and commercial matters
  • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers, understanding their needs and aligning service delivery accordingly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree Engineering /Technical Field (Chemical, Physics, Electronic)
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in are Sr. Sales Position / Technical Support or Field Service Leadership
  • Proven customer relationship management experience.
  • Experience or knowledge of Service Delivery Management, Knowledge of Business Processes (sales, billing, etc.)
  • Experience to manage in a matrix organization, understanding regional needs, tracking P&L and reporting to senior management.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills in English and German
  • Ability to deal with change and ambiguity, thriving in a fast-paced/high-intensity environment.
  • Experience working with Salesforce.
