Role Description

The European Team at Nova seeks a Sales Manager for the Chemical Metrology product line to oversee our customer base in Europe.

As the European Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for managing key accounts, possessing deep technical knowledge of our products and their applications, particularly in semiconductor manufacturing and wafer-level packaging processes.

Your role involves developing and nurturing relationships with strategic customers, meeting sales quota targets, and leading key account planning. Success in this position requires familiarity with the competitive environment, market trends, and experience in a leadership role managing customers and sales teams.

Responsibilities

  • Understand competitive landscape and market trends
  • Maintain gross margin and penetrate strategic accounts
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders for strategy execution
  • Generate accurate Account and Opportunity plans
  • Provide technical direction and manage project completion
  • Establish strong relationships with key customer stakeholders
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Liaise with marketing for customized presentations and lead pre-sales activities
  • Provide weekly reports to Country Manager/Sales VP
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR)
  • Collaborate with support teams to explore new applications
  • Create proposals for tool and upgrade projects, subject to VP sales approval

Requirements

  • >5 years sales leadership experience in semiconductor equipment field.
  • Degree in chemistry or background with chemical engineering
  • Well versed in front end semiconductor manufacturing and/or wafer level packaging processes.
  • Leadership and sales experience.
  • Fluency in English verbal and written, German as an additional language is a plus.
  • Strong client relationship connections and interpersonal skills.
  • Nova offers mobile working: You will work 50% in our offices in Dresden or Pliezhausen, travel to customer locations and 50% in a mobile office
