Role Description
What we are looking for:
We are seeking a proactive and organized Production floor planning and control to join our Supply Chain department. In this crucial role, you will manage and coordinate various aspects of the production line to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of finished goods. Your responsibilities will range from aligning work orders to managing parts and materials, ensuring all processes are executed efficiently and accurately.
You will Interface with Production Planners, Integrators, Assemblers, Warehouse, Quality Assurance, and other cross-functional teams
Your role is vital in ensuring efficient production processes, minimizing delays, and contributing to the overall operational excellence of the organization.
Reporting To: Production planning team leader
Responsibilities
What will you be doing:
- You will be responsible for schedule work orders, defining main parts for inspection approval, identifying missing parts from production inputs, and updating target dates for parts arrival.
- Schedule work orders according to physical status in production floor.
- Identify missing parts and update target dates for assembly and integration.
- Verify the arrival of parts and coordinate with relevant departments (warehouse, production) to locate missing items when necessary.
- Properly close work orders and handle supply requests for various needs.
- Open supply requests in the system, update tracking lists, and monitor until parts arrive.
- Manage material issuance and update the ERP system, ensuring loan warehouses are accurately maintained.
- Prepare and send daily status reports via email.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for effective shortage management.
- Create relevant graphics for documentation.
- Publish document updates to the Nova Technical Knowledge Center.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in production planning or logistics.
- Proficiency in Priority ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) procedures.
