The China Sales Team at Nova is looking for Technical Manager in Shanghai area.

You’ll be joining China sales team, reporting to Country Manager:

·       The China MMD Technical Manager works with our appointed distributor/agent to support pre and post sales activities for MMD products across China accounts. She/He expands and maintains direct technical relationships with strategically important and large customers. Assigned to the highest-value key customers, the role is responsible for project management and marketing for our Materials Metrology products in China.

·       The MMD Technical Manager works with the division HQ Marketing stakeholders to create values for our products and solutions, based on the needs of our customers. He/She strategizes with our distributor/agent in China, and work with them to execute strategies and sales plans to achieve company’s business objectives.

Responsibilities

What will you do as a Technical Manager?

  • Understand the competitive landscape and market trends; Execute and support strategies together with our distributor/agent and helping them successfully penetrate strategic accounts.
  • Market our Material Metrology products to all strategic customers in China and deliver the company’s value proposition.
  • Working and communicating with various stakeholders within the company, to effectively execute strategies to achieve business objectives and annual revenue goals. Aligning and managing distributor/agent stakeholders to achieve the company’s business objectives. Generate and maintain accurate Account and strategic plans.
  • Provide technical direction on business decisions and execution of specific projects. Manage our distributor’s resources and lead projects to their successful completion, building a technical relationship with members of distributor’s service and application teams in the process.
  • Create strong and direct relationships with key customers’ stakeholders at both senior and mid-management levels. Ability to identify and solve customers’ issues strategically, while promoting the company and its products’ values in the process.
  • Communicate effectively with management and cross-functional teams, for both technical and non-technical audiences. Work with internal teams on behalf of customers to help our distributor/agent ensure that the highest level of customer service is provided.
  • Liaise with MMD marketing dept to customize the decks needed for each of our marketing or technical review sessions with customers. Lead and conduct these pre-sales activities.
  • Maintain and provide a weekly report to the Country Manager/Sales VP on the customers’ activities, distributor/agent’s activities and competitive landscape.
  •  Conduct Monthly reviews and communicating vital information to MMD HQ.
  •  Support pre-sale activities. Prioritize and manage all MMD projects.
  • Work with application team to explore and develop new applications to create the business opportunities. Conduct technical review meetings/ seminars with customers, marketing our products and solutions, thereby increasing company visibility.

Requirements

  •  China local citizen
  • ~10 years technical, marketing or sales experience dedicated in front end semiconductor industry. Preferably with experience in the metrology segment. 
  •  Well versed in front end semiconductor manufacturing processes.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Strong client relationship connections, or ability to build such connections.
  • Bachelor degree in engineering discipline and above; majoring in either Chemical, material or physics.
