Role Description

The HQ Application Team at Nova is looking for an Application Specialist to expand Nova DMD product’s application space and develop stronger field application teams.

  • You’ll be joining the Application Team: 
  • Supporting each other anytime is our culture; plan as a team is our tradition.
  • We supply creative ideas to fulfill customers’ requests and promote company’s products.


  • Work with local teams to enable successful completion of key evaluations and demos to further increase market share.
  • Develop relevant application procedures, skills and workforce to enable and move relevant products from R&D to Production.
  • Develop key technology differentiating value together with Division and CTO teams, and work with accounts in the evaluation and implementation.
  • Empower WW Global Application Teams by enhancing local teams' expertise, and by developing strong Field HQ Application teams.
  • Communicate and establish good relationship with customers for process & issue understanding.
  • Co-work with subsidiaries (i.e., IL/US/CN/JP/SG) to develop new application solutions, able to support / work abroad.
  • Pro-actively maintain semiconductor knowledge from industry and international academic conferences.

  • Willing to adapt to different working hours of different subsidiaries.
  • Proactively learning on semiconductor knowledge and new metrology technics.


  •  Above master’s degree in physical, Chemistry, Material Science Engineering or Chemical Engineering background.
  • Good project management, leadership, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge with Semiconductor process.
  • Willing to travel to various regions for evaluation support activities or trainings.
  • Proficient in English and Mandarin.
  • Think out-of-box and Dare to Dream to Win.
