Role Description

The DMD (Dimensional Metrology Division) at Nova is looking for PMO who will be responsible for streamlining delivery and division planning associated with development projects. 

The PMO will report to the GM Dimensional Metrology division.

What will you do as a PMO:

Project Planning

  • The PMO plays an integral role during the initial planning stages for any project. Creates structured schedules and supports project plans based on the project goals, resources needed, potential risks, time to market, and budget constraints. By partnering with stack holders in different roles to assess the workloads and impacts for various departments, the PMO can identify dependencies and possible issues across teams. 
  • Support the planning infrastructure in the division for the project managers and functional managers.
  • Guide and mentor Project managers; act as a source of guidance and advice for project managers.

Project Execution 

  • Involves tracking progress, deliverables, resources, and timelines throughout the project process. The PMO supports the division management commitments tracking.
  • By supporting the overall planning and tracking process of carrying out the project, the PMO can adapt plans based on evolving needs or issues and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery following the stated project goals.

Process Improvement and Standards Development

  • Build up a standard set of practices, principles, and templates for managing projects
  • Define digital supporting tools and platforms to supporting DMD and collaborate with IT for setting requirements and implementation
  • Identify processes and activities to improve
  • Responsible for the yearly planning process – budgets, resources, work plans.
  • Responsible for Budget management – P&L, project Costs, and revenues, tracking budget gaps and managing them


What will make you succeed in the role?

  • BSc in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineer or related field
  • At least 5 + years experience as a PMO in multi-disciplinary companies
  • Semiconductor industry experience – an advantage
  • Experienced with Agile project development methodologies 
  • Experienced with implementing project management tools 
  • Experience in Budget management – P&L understanding, project Costs and revenues, tracking budget gaps, and high analytical skills – MUST
  • Experienced with creating systems and processes: Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimizing projects delivery
  • Experience with MS Project- Must
  • Experience with BI system (Power BI, Power App)- an advantage
  • Presentation skills - Ability to create & deliver presentations effectively
  • "People's person" with a delivery-oriented approach and a "can-do" attitude
