Role Description

The objective of the Logistic Planner is to efficiently and effectively coordinate all activities related to Service Material (Spare Parts, VAS material, PM Material, Consumables Material, Import/Export etc.) in the company subsidiaries and offices. The goal is to ensure sufficient martial availability to enable execution of all Service activities and Service business. The Logistic Planner is a global position and will carry the below activities for all company divisions (DMD and MMD).

Responsibilities

Material planning and Inventory management

a.     Responsible for ongoing inventory levels review in China main offices and replenish parts as required in order to ensure sufficient and optimized inventory level to support the overall service activities

b.    Approve, control and manage DD for all SOs

c.     Responsible for fast defected units return – provide weekly report and work with FSE/site leaders to return the defected units in order to shorten RMA cycle time

d.     Responsible for Inventory accuracy and Quarterly Inventory count (IC) in all WHs, check and analyze the results

i.      Open the inventory count

ii.     Manage and analyze the results and variation

iii.    Join relevant WHs for physical IC

iv.     Execute IC in Shanghai office

v.     Random cycle count on a weekly basis 

e.    Manage Inventory disposal

Import/Export management

a.     Perform Logistics import & export activities into China for bonded / non-bonded WHs – review, issue, approve documents (according to regulation) and release Cargo

b.     Maintain import / export record files

Transportation & Logistics management

a.     Support urgent cases worldwide from China offices inventory

b.     Arrange and coordinate local transportation for parts delivery between WHs, offices and customer sites

i.      Creating documents and making the transactions accordingly

c.      Prepare RMAs documents for material return to relevant Repair Center on weekly basis – Proforma Invoice (PI)/Packing list for broker to save re-export tax

Customer support in CH

a.     Create Warehouse transfer (WT) or Customer Shipment (CS) in Priority system based on service coordinator requests (When FSE needs/take parts for RMAPAY of warranty contract. Check Inventory Qty)

Warehouse and administration

a.     Organize spare parts warehouse and space based on the industry high standard

i.     Visit/Audit Tainan and Taichung WH and assure standard compliance

b.     Repackage parts before shipments and prepare documentation  

c.      Prepare payment request to finance - Import tax, truck, FedEx & forwarder fee, broker charge

MMD spare parts manual management

a.     TBD per Syntax transition 

Requirements
  • English (must) – Good communication verbal and writing.
  • Min 3 years’ experience in import/export and logistics management.
  • Working with ERP systems
  • Working experience in a global companies. Preferred industrial/Semiconductor.
  • Relevant education – BA an advantage
  • Good team work and interpersonal relationship
