Role Description

  • Supporting most aspects of accounting management in Taiwan
  • Assisting in the formulation of internal controls and policies to comply with legislation and established best practices
  • Preparation of financial statements in compliance with official guidelines and requirements (EAS and US GAAP)
  • Approve journal entries, invoices etc. and reconcile accounts for monthly and annual closing
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets or forecasts
  • Participate in preparing and managing external audits, internal audit and SoX audits
  • Help in development of reports for management or regulatory bodies
  • Review the company’s accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances
  • Utilize accounting IT system to facilitate processes and maintain records
  • Proven experience as accounting/audit process or other similar position
  • Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
  • Solid knowledge of EAS and US GAAP and financial processes
  • Well-organized with ability to prioritize task and work under strict and demanding schedule
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills, multinational work experience will be an advantage
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • BA in accounting, finance or relevant field is preferred
  • CPA Certification is required
  • Work experience in the accounting or financial field from +5 years (Big 4 experience will be an advantage)
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (especially excel) 
  • Locate in Hsinchu, Taiwan (local citizen preference)
  • Mandarin native speaker and strong English capabilities, both writing and speaking
