Role Description
We are looking for a Technical Product Specialist to provide global technical leadership in resolving critical customer issues and driving product excellence for the Chemical Metrology Division (CMD).
- In this position, you will serve as the technical voice of the customer, supporting field issue resolution, product upgrades, technical training, and continuous product improvement initiatives.
- You will work closely with Global Service, Product Marketing, Engineering, R&D, and regional Sales and Service organizations to ensure customer success and contribute to next-generation product development.
Responsibilities
What will you do as Technical Product Specialist?
- Lead the resolution of critical customer technical issues through troubleshooting, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and escalation management.
- Serve as the key technical interface between customers and internal stakeholders, driving collaboration across Product Marketing, Engineering, Application, Sales, and Service organizations.
- Act as the Voice of Customer (VOC) and contribute to product enhancements and next-generation product development.
- Lead technical training and capability development programs for Field Service Engineers (FSEs).
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and promote service best practices across global organizations.
- Provide technical consultation and application support to customers and regional Service teams.
- Support customer evaluations, demonstrations, field upgrades, and strategic technical projects to ensure successful outcomes and customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to global Technical Product Specialist initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.
- Electrical and software troubleshooting skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of the semiconductor industry (tools, processes, end-user requirements, etc.).
- 7+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry or related high-tech industries.
- Electronics or Chemical background is preferred.
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other standard digital tools.
