What we are looking for

The Global HR team at Nova is looking for a Talent Acquisition Lead to drive and lead end-to-end talent acquisition mindset and approach in Taiwan. This role will take ownership in leading strategic recruitment, lead academia partnerships, and employer brand activities while acting as a trusted partner to the business.

The Talent Acquisition Partner Lead will play a key role in shaping Nova’s talent strategy in Taiwan, ensuring a strong pipeline of diverse, high-quality candidates, and strengthening our presence in the local talent market.

The TA Lead will report directly to Regional HR head and collaborate closely with both global and local teams.

Responsibilities

  •  Lead the end-to-end recruitment process in Taiwan, from workforce planning, sourcing, and interviewing to negotiating and closing offers.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to hiring managers, supporting them in defining requirements, building pipelines, and making informed hiring decisions.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to engage top talent, leveraging multiple channels, social media, and professional communities.
  • Manage and mentor stakeholders in utilizing Nova’s ATS (Comeet) to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and a high-quality candidate experience.
  • Build and maintain long-term talent pipelines, enhancing Nova’s referral programs and leading targeted search efforts.
  • Strengthen Nova’s employer brand in Taiwan through impactful initiatives, campaigns, and storytelling that highlight Nova’s unique culture and opportunities.
  • Lead academia partnerships, establishing strong relationships with universities and research institutes, and managing campus recruitment activities, events, and collaborations.
  • Provide data-driven insights and regular updates on hiring progress, market trends, and talent availability to leadership.
  • Act as a role model and culture ambassador, preserving a positive, one-Nova candidate and employee experience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, including at least 2 years in a lead or senior role, preferably in a fast-growing global company.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead partnerships with academia and external stakeholders.
  • Strong experience in employer branding and talent marketing initiatives.
  • Excellent sourcing, interviewing, and assessment skills with the ability to activate passive candidates.
  • Independent, mature, and highly motivated, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills – a true people-oriented team player.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while driving multiple priorities.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with proven ability to collaborate with senior leaders.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) – additional languages (Mandarin) a strong advantage.
