Role Description
What we are looking for:
Nova seeks a Marketing Director to define and lead the long-term product portfolio strategy for the Dimensional Metrology Division.
As part of this role, you will manage a team of Marketing Managers and hold accountability for identifying future market opportunities, technology trends, investment priorities, and the 3–5-year technology roadmap.
In this role, you will own the Product Life Cycle through Gate 2, ensuring that new products entering development are supported by a compelling market opportunity, clear customer value proposition, and robust business case.
You will partner with Executive Management, CTO, Advanced Technology, Corporate Marketing, and strategic customers to prioritize innovation initiatives and support long-term business growth.
Responsibilities
What will you be doing:
- Manage and develop a team of Marketing Managers, setting priorities and ensuring strong execution across portfolio strategy activities.
- Define and maintain the long-term product portfolio strategy, investment priorities, and 3–5-year technology roadmap.
- Build executive relationships with strategic customers to understand future technology roadmaps, emerging applications, and evolving customer needs.
- Monitor customer technology challenges, market dynamics, competitive positioning, and emerging technologies to identify future business opportunities, threats, and portfolio gaps.
- Develop business cases, TAM, SAM, and WFE analyses, market assessments, and portfolio investment recommendations.
- Own the Market Requirements Document, including product positioning, value proposition, pricing strategy, and market segmentation.
- Define product launch strategy in collaboration with Corporate Marketing.
- Partner with Executive Management, CTO, and Advanced Technology to prioritize portfolio investments, innovation initiatives, and long-term business growth.
- Present portfolio strategy, business cases, and investment recommendations to senior stakeholders to support decision-making.
Requirements
Must Have requirements:
- Master’s degree in Physics, Materials Science, Electronics, Optics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in the semiconductor equipment industry.
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor processes and equipment.
- Experience in Product Marketing or Product Management in a global technology company.
- Management experience.
- Strong business and strategic thinking, including market analysis, competitive assessment, and business case development.
- Proven ability to build relationships with strategic customers and lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally frequently.
