What we are looking for

Nova seeks Material Planner to manage our operations in Taiwan and ensure reliable material availability to meet production and delivery targets.

In this role, you will be tasked with enabling efficient production flow and making sure of on time material availability by translating demand, production plans, and priorities into actionable material plans. You will work closely with Production, HQ planning, Purchasing, Warehouses, and Engineering teams. have a direct impact on delivery performance, inventory optimization, and process improvement.

As a Material Planner, you will play a key role in execution and short-to-mid-term planning, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between supply, inventory, and operational needs. This position offers a great opportunity for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about driving operational excellence in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

What you will be doing

  • Own material availability to support production and customer deliveries.
  • Monitor OTD performance, resolve shortages, and mitigate production risks related to materials and deliveries.
  • Coordinate material flow and internal deliveries while maintaining sustainable and accurate inventory levels.
  • Support inventory optimization, including excess and obsolete stock reduction and alignment between system and physical inventory.
  • Translate demand and production plans into execution-level material plans and track supply status and risks.
  • Collaborate closely with HQ planning team, Purchasing, Production, Warehouse, and other stakeholders to align priorities and ensure timely closure of dependencies.
  • Lead weekly planning and delivery reviews, including tracking reports, action items, and planning visibility.
  • Drive continuous improvement of planning processes, reporting accuracy, data quality, and inventory management methodologies.
  • Support implementation of new tools, systems, and best practices related to planning and material management.


Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in material and logistics planning in a multidisciplinary environment – Must.
  • High English level (with emphasis on verbale skills) – Must.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in industrial engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field – Must.
  • Proven experience in material planning, supply chain, or production planning roles.
  • Experience working with cross-functional interfaces (Production, Purchasing, Warehouses).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience working with ERP systems.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (with emphasis on Excel).
  • Experience working with Oracle Cloude ERP systems - Advantage
  • Familiarity with inventory management and optimization methodologies - Advantage
  • Experience with supply chain KPIs (OTD, shortages, inventory turns, etc.) - Advantage
