As Procurement Manager (m/f/d) at Sentronics Metrology (a Nova Company) in Mannheim, you will take on a key role in leading and further developing our procurement activities for high-precision metrology solutions within the semiconductor industry. Your mission is to ensure a reliable, cost-efficient and future-oriented supplier base, drive supplier management, negotiations and cost optimization, and support the smooth supply of materials, parts and services in close collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and other internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Monitoring procurement and supplier markets to identify trends, opportunities, risks and potential new suppliers
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements for parts, materials, equipment and services, including technical specifications, quality standards and delivery needs
- Managing RFQ processes from supplier selection and offer comparison through to the coordination of technical reviews
- Negotiating prices, quantities, delivery dates, contractual terms and framework agreements with national and international suppliers
- Evaluating supplier performance, reliability, technical capability and competitiveness to support strategic purchasing decisions
- Ensuring on-time delivery, managing supplier escalations and driving continuous improvement measures within the supplier base
Requirements
- Successfully completed degree in a commercial/business or technical field, or extensive professional experience in procurement
- Relevant experience in handling complex procurement activities, ideally within a technical or manufacturing environment
- Extensive expertise in supplier management, contract management, price negotiations and cost optimization activities
- Good technical understanding with the ability to work closely with engineering and quality teams to clarify specifications, requirements and supplier-related topics
- Excellent analytical skills, a structured way of working and a data-driven approach to procurement decisions
- Strong leadership skills with experience in guiding, developing and motivating teams
- Excellent communication skills in German and English, with the ability to build trusted relationships with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP Business One or comparable ERP systems is an advantage
