Role Description
Nova Ltd. is seeking an Intermediate Field Service Engineer based in Virginia to provide technical support and maintenance for our advanced equipment. This role involves troubleshooting, repair, and installation services to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

- Conduct on-site installation of equipment and systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and on-demand service repairs.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Train customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
- Collaborate with the technical support team for complex issues.
- Document service activities and maintain accurate records.
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite technical support for Nova systems under warranty and service agreements
- Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, upgrades, and system recovery activities
- Support new equipment installations, qualifications, and system add-ons
- Collaborate with global support teams, applications engineers, and R&D to resolve complex technical issues
- Deliver customer training on system operation, maintenance, and best practices
- Generate technical reports and communicate system status to both customer and Nova management
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components
- Support onsite customer evaluations and collaborate with sales teams as needed
- Maintain compliance with customer site procedures, safety standards, and cleanroom protocols
- Handle sensitive customer information with professionalism and confidentiality
- Support customers during assigned schedules and provide additional support when business needs require
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a field service role.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in technical diagnostics and repair.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently within Virginia.
- Experience with electronic and mechanical systems.
