Nova’s sustainable growth over the years is driven by a sense of responsibility, our mission, our corporate DNA and, above all, confidence in our ability and desire to act, make an impact and bring a positive change. In our 2022 Insights Review, we aimed to better embed our environmental, social, and governance goals and principles into our operating model and establish measurable metrics to help us track and evaluate our progress. As part of this aim, we thoroughly reviewed our previous goals and are pleased to announce new goals that better reflect our long-term vision, address our areas of impact, and allow us to measure our progress on our targeted initiatives.
Our updated goals are also rooted in our accomplishments from 2024. Our efforts to reduce our environmental impact have taken great strides, achieving 88% renewable energy use and a significant reduction in scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from a 2022 baseline. We are also proud of the progress we have made with some of our key social programs including achieving a 148% increase in employee volunteering hours from a 2022 baseline, 35% internal mobility rate, and launched a professional certification program to better serve customers.

We aim to adopt a holistic and responsible approach to improve our sustainability practices so that we can lessen the impacts that we have on the communities in which we operate while we collaborate with our stakeholders to transform the world where we live. We also work toward implementation of comprehensive methods to incorporate our strategy across our activities to create positive impacts as a corporation and as individuals.
