Nova Korea is looking for an Accountant in Dongtan, Korea

You’ll be joining the Nova Korea team:

Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate performance of accounts payable duties in accordance with company’s accounting policies and schedule.
- Receive, review, and post vendor invoices
- Perform three-way and two-way matching (PO, GR, Invoice)
- Perform monthly Inter-company balance reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly and ad hoc payments –
- Run invoices due for payment report for approval.
- Upload payment files for approval.
- Perform bank account and bank statement reconciliations.
- Review employees’ expense report to ensure claimed expenses are accurately reflected per company policy and local taxation rules.
- Prepare management report for expenses report/travel request/travel expense.
- Ensure compliance with company’s rule and policies as well as local accounting, tax, and other statutory regulations.
- Perform VAT reconcile on monthly basis and quarterly VAT reporting.
- Support External and Internal Audit- Local Statuary Audit. Government and corporate auditors
- Drive continuous improvement across the Finance process.
- Other ad hoc assignments
Requirements
- University degree or adequate education preferable in accounting or business
- Minimum 3-5 years of finance/accounting related work experience in multi-national company
- Fluent in business writing and verbal skills in English
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills and the ability to work as a one team
- Well-organized with ability to work independently with guidance.
- Preferred Oracle experience
