Role Description
What we are looking for
Following Nova’s acquisition of Sentronics Metrology GmbH less than two years ago, Nova is accelerating the global expansion of Sentronics’ advanced packaging metrology solutions. We are now entering the China market with a direct sales model, and this role is central to that effort.
We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead the market penetration, customer adoption, and revenue growth of Sentronics products in China. This is a strategic, hands-on role responsible for turning best-in-class German-developed metrology technology into commercial success within one of the most important semiconductor markets globally.
You will act as the commercial owner for Sentronics in China, working closely with Sentronics R&D and product teams in Germany and with Nova’s global and regional organizations.
Responsibilities
- Lead direct sales activities for Sentronics’ advanced packaging metrology solutions in the China semiconductor market.
- Own the full go-to-market execution for Sentronics in China, including customer targeting, opportunity development, and deal closure.
- Drive market entry and expansion following Nova’s recent acquisition of Sentronics, establishing Sentronics as a trusted solution provider with leading customers.
- Engage deeply with customer engineering, process, and management teams to understand advanced packaging challenges and position Sentronics’ differentiated value.
- Manage complex, long-cycle sales processes involving evaluations, technical alignment, and commercial negotiations.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with strategically important customers and key decision-makers.
- Act as the primary interface between customers and:
- Sentronics R&D and Product Management teams in Germany.
- Nova’s global, regional, and local field organizations.
- Ensure successful onboarding, solution delivery, and ongoing customer satisfaction
- Monitor customer usage and feedback to identify growth, upsell, and roadmap alignment opportunities
- Forecast, track, and report pipeline, revenue, and key account metrics
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline (MBA – advantage).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in technical B2B sales or key account management.
- Strong background in semiconductor capital equipment, metrology, process control, or advanced packaging.
- Proven experience selling complex, high-value technical systems with long sales cycles.
- Track record of driving new market penetration or expanding product adoption.
- Comfortable working in a global, matrixed environment across regions and cultures.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including at executive and technical levels.
- High proficiency in MS Office for executive reporting and customer presentations.
- Willingness to travel within China and internationally as required.
